Prenatal & Postpartum Support

Starting May 11, we’ll be meeting bi-weekly on Fridays from 3:30-5pm to connect and enjoy an open, honest, and interesting discussion on a specific topic facilitated by Stacey. Below are a list of themes we’ll be chatting about, along with anything else that you want to share.

  • Foods for healing, nourishment and hormonal balance
  • Postpartum Sleep
  • Reestablishing a sense of self through movement and exercise
  • What self-pleasure looks like postpartum
  • Sex and Creativity
  • Writing down the bones – Integrating your birth experience through writing

Our sessions are open to all mamas and their babies, and we’ll be accepting donations instead of charging a fixed price in order to make it available to as many women as possible.

Stacey has designed a four-week workshop to help parents-to-be discover their strengths, uncover blind spots and and build support using the tools of Yoga and Ayurveda. Utilizing breathing techniques, physical exercises, nutrition, and emotional release practices, participants at any stage of the process (even those working through fertility issues) will walk away with a tool box full of relevant and sustaining information. Stacey Ramsower is a yoga teacher, doula, and somatic sex educator. Stacey’s passion for the perinatal period was born out of her own research into her adoption and birth experience. She has attended over thirty births, and views birth and postpartum as a radical activation of our human potential for power, care, and healing. She trained to be a doula under the guidance of Carriage House Birth, as well as studying feminine form Ayurveda with Katie Silcox, Hormonal Health through the Institute for Women’s Health, and is a registered STREAM student which utilizes hands-on, hands-in treatment for scar tissue remediation postpartum, post-op, and to address sexual dysfunction and pain.

Blossom Birth Series

Date: Sundays, 9/23, 9/30, 10/14, 10/21

Time: 2-3:30pm

The journey to parenthood is very personal and wholly unique. While there is a universality to the process, trusting yourself, cultivating a strong support system, and staying healthy are some of the most important elements for success.

Blossom Birth is a four-week workshop designed specifically to help parents-to-be discover their strengths, uncover blind spots and and build support using the tools of Yoga and Ayurveda. Utilizing breathing techniques, physical exercises, nutrition, and emotional release practices, participants at any stage of the process (even those working through fertility issues) will walk away with a tool box full of relevant and sustaining information.

This workshop is for you if you are:

  • Pregnant
  • Trying to conceive
  • Experiencing difficulty with your pregnancy (physical, emotional, or mental)
  • Interested in learning the physiology of birth and engaging in a way that will support you in delivery
  • Looking for techniques to ease labor and delivery
  • Curious about postpartum and how best to prepare
  • Interested in developing a birth plan with your partner / support person
  • Open to holistic techniques for your overall physical and emotional wellbeing
  • Wanting to meet others like YOU

Stacey Ramsower is a Yoga teacher and teacher trainer, a birth and postpartum doula, a Somatic Sex Educator, and soon-to-be Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coach. Her work is strongly informed by Somatic Experiencing, as well as Kimberly Johnson (author of “The Fourth Trimester”) and Ellen Heed’s STREAM Training (Scar Tissue Remediation, Education, and Management.) She has been teaching for over fifteen years and brings equal parts reverence and a no-nonsense approach to her classes.
