Yogaleena Summer School 2019

One of our 5 core values at Yogaleena is self-development, and we’re bringing it to life this summer with a variety of workshops designed for yoga teachers and students to go deeper into their practice (whether that’s on the mat, through yoga philosophy, or exploring creativity.) Check out our exciting summer continuing education offering below and let us know if you have any questions. We can’t wait to learn with and from you!

The Artist’s Way (Experiential) Book Club

Dates: Sundays June 9, June 30, July 14, July 28, August 11, August 25

Times: 12:30-2pm

Instructor:  Nicole Peralta

Investment: $125 for 12 week series ($99 for Yogaleena Members!)

Have you ever picked up a copy of Julia Cameron’s amazing book, The Artist’s Way? Have you ever actually finished the 12 week program outlined in it? Although the wisdom in the pages of The Artist’s Way can re-spark your creativity and truly change your life, it’s admittedly very difficult to follow through from beginning to end!

Join Nicole for a hands-on exploration of the book that includes bi-weekly meetings to keep you motivated as we make our way through all 12 chapters. You’ll connect with fellow creative souls, bring depth to the lessons in the book through discussion and sharing, and walk away with straight-up bragging rights for actually finishing The Artist’s Way!

The Yoga Sutras: Study Series

Dates: Fridays June 14, July 19, August 16, September 20

Times: 7- 8:30pm

Instructor:  Rhia Robinson

Investment: $25/session or $80/series of 4 (this option also includes weekly emails with additional information and resources!)

So much wisdom can be found in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, but diving into this ancient text is no easy feat without the guidance of someone who has studied them in depth. As part of our Continuing Education summer program, yoga teacher and long-time student of yoga philosophy, Rhia Robinson, will be leading a Sutra Study Series to bring their teachings to life.

About Rhia: Motherhood, meditation, travel, writing and deep reflection have been
sources of tremendous inspiration for Rhia. She discovered yoga when
she was a
teenager and has been teaching since 2002. Her classes use the physical practices as access points to the more subtle and
spiritual aspects of yoga such as observing mental and emotional
patterns, and connecting to Spirit. Her gentle guidance leads students
to explore their edges and uncover their own inner truth. She feels fortunate to have the opportunity to share the gift of yoga with others.
